DO I NEED BOATING EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE A PONTOON BOAT?

Not at all!!  Our pontoon boats are easy and safe to operate.  We will guide you on how to operate it and the safety equipment.  If you can drive a car, you can drive a pontoon.  However, if you were born after January 1, 1988 you must have a Florida Boater Education ID Card.  You can take an official free online boating course and print out the certificate immediately upon successful completion at https://boattests101.com/united-states/florida/florida-rental?mcid=ThoEDx1t.

Additionally, our highly trained staff provides you with a safety briefing and a brief "on-water" instruction.

  1. Renter must have a valid driver's license and be at least 25 years old.

  2. Renter must sign a contract, and renter and guests must sign a liability waiver.

  3. Renter must provide a major credit card (Visa, Master Card, or American Express) at time of rental. This is for damages or fees. It will be authorized for $500 which will be released when the boat is returned on time with no damage. Renter is financially responsible for any damages.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?

We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or change your reservation you will not be penalized. In the off chance that we need to, we may cancel your reservation due to unsafe weather and/or boating conditions, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel your reservation, you will be issued a full refund.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT
Renter is financially responsible for any damages. A damage deposit of $500 will be automatically held on the day of your booking on the card used for the initial booking.  The full amount, or remaining damage deposit will be released 24 hours after your booking.

WORRIED ABOUT WEATHER?

Don't let the fear of bad weather or afternoon thunderstorms prevent you from booking, we have an extremely lenient weather policy.  Your experience is our first priority, so if you would like to cancel at any time up to your booking start time, simply call us and we'll reschedule for another time or cancel altogether.  It's that simple!  After all, it's not your fault if mother nature is not cooperating!

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH THE RENTALS?

You will be provided with a 24ft pontoon, equipped with plenty of options to make a perfect day on the water. Included in your rental is a floating platform for extending your part out onto the water, a paddleboard, a towable raft for leisure tubing, a stock of games for family- fun time, bluetooth stereo, a 40" smart TV (connect to your phone hotspot for internet), Bluetooth stereo.  Additionally, there are multiple charging outlets (USB/USB-C), electronic navigation, and, of course, all necessary safety equipment and life jackets.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Prior to taking the boat, the designated driver must show proof of valid government issued photo identification and proof of completing boat safety course if born on or after January 1, 1988.

  • Our boats accommodate a maximum of 10 guests, regardless of age or weight.

  • Children 6 years old and under must wear a life jacket at all times.  Your boat is equipped with life jackets to accommodate all ages and sizes.

  • Boats may only be driven by the designated driver(s) on the contract. Drivers must be born before January 1, 1988 or PRESENT a Florida Boater Safety Card, or other state equivalent.

  • No pets allowed.

  • No smoking while onboard the boat

  • There is no grilling, candles or fires onboard.

  • Unfortunately, due to the frequency of fishing lines getting caught in the engine, fishing is not permitted.

  • Although we are pro-party, we do not allow red wine

  • DO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE TO SWIM NEAR REAR OF BOAT. DO NOT SWIM AROUND MOTOR. The propeller will KILL. Make sure the engine is not running while people are swimming.

  • LOWER ENGINE BEFORE RESTARTING.

  • Ensure the motor is tilted all the way down and the throttle is in neutral before starting.  The motor will not start if not in neutral.

  • Raise and retract LADDER before starting motor and when in shallow water. Ladders bend or break easily.

  • Keep all gates closed when motor is running. To prevent serious injury or death, don't allow your guests to ride forward or aft of the gates while boat is in motion.

  • Please observe height and clearance before going under bridges. Proceed slowly with caution.

  • Watch for no wake zones and pay attention to all posted signs.  Police patrol the water, and you can be ticketed.

  • Know your return time before leaving.  To allow time for changeover procedures between rental sessions, returning late can affect other bookings.  If later than 20 minutes, you will be charged $25.00; after 1 hour you will be charged the Full Daily Rate and forfeit your deposit.

  • SPEED LIMITS: KEEP IT SLOW when entering and departing from dock area. Proceed with caution, speed zones vary. Watch for NO WAKE ZONES and MANATEE ZONES.

  • Come to a complete stop when adjusting Bimini top, keep top all the way down or all the way up.

  • Stay in between channel markers, favor right side.

All this sounds like a lot, but most of it is simple common sense, and we will go over it again during our safety briefing.
